Assistant Construction Manager

Permanent full-time role reporting to the Construction Manager based in either Tullamarine or Hallam. The role will primarily assist the Construction Manager by planning and organising resources and managing a team of Site Supervisors to ensure projects are delivered on budget and on time.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Use of construction knowledge to evaluate production programs to ensure efficient and logical sequencing
  • Responsible for labour and plant usage to ensure compliance to approved budgets
  • Drive the adherence and compliance of the OHS procedures
  • Participate in weekly Construction production planning meetings
  • Coordinate and issue daily production plans
  • Reviewing reports and providing weekly updates for management
  • Cost Management and tracking of projects
  • Ensure plant and equipment is operated and maintained to company standards
  • The ability to lead and manage people

The successful candidate  will  have a minimum of  5  years’  experience  in a  similar leadership role and  preferably  have  a  background  in construction or  landscaping  (desirable)  in addition to the  following;  

  • Previous experience in managing large scale commercial landscape projects or a related field or trade
  • Demonstrated leadership & people management skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft suite
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • An excellent work ethic and mindset


Excavator Operator

  • Current Victorian Driver’s & HR (Medium Rigid Truck) license
  • White Card (Construction Industry)
  • Excavator licence +
  • Relevant competencies to meet the above requirements as an experienced ‘all-rounder’ operator
  • Permanent full-time role reporting to the Assistant Construction Manager based in Tullamarine

Machine Operator – Bobcat

Permanent full-time role reporting to theAssistant Construction Manager, based in Tullamarine. Must have their medium rigid truck license and be willing to work in a team environment. The successful candidate will work on a broad range of landscape projects around Melbourne.

The successful applicant will need to possess the following:

  • Current Victorian Driver’s & HR license
  • White Card (Construction Industry)
  • Skid steerloader license +
  • Relevant competencies to meet the above requirements
  • An excellent work ethic and mindset



Senior Project Manager

Permanent full-time role reporting to the General Manager based in Tullamarine. The role will primarily manage ongoing project objectives by planning and evaluating project activities with the site supervisors.

Some key responsibilities:

  • Ensure that job profitability and budget management targets are met
  • Actively build strong relationships with project key stakeholders
  • Drive weekly job planning meetings
  • Monitor and implement detailed programmes for approvals, procurement and construction
  • The ability to read and interpret contracts
  • Manage all specifications, common drawings, and variations
  • Ensure the adherence and compliance of the OHS procedures
  • Responsible for all coordination of permits & inspections
  • Manage the contract administration of each project including progress claims
  • Procurement of materials and subcontractors
  • The ability to lead, inspire and manage people

The successful candidate must have a background in commercial landscaping and previous project management experience in addition to the following;

  • Good knowledge of Benchmark Estimating & Excel software package
  • Demonstrated leadership, negotiation skills and vision in managing major projects or initiatives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • An excellent work ethic and mindset


Weed Spraying Operator

Permanent full-time role, joining our dynamic Maintenance team that works across Melbourne, reporting to the Maintenance Manager based in Tullamarine. The ideal candidate will be a motivated professional who has previous experience in operating a mobile spray unit with a sound knowledge of chemicals and their application. The successful candidate will also be willing to work with the broader Maintenance division performing various general garden maintenance as part of their role when spraying duties cannot be done.

The successful candidate will need to possess the following:

  • Current Victorian Driver’s license
  • A chemical certificate
  • White Card (Construction Industry)
  • Certificate in Horticulture (desirable)
  • A truck licence is preferred
  • An excellent work ethic and mindset
