FLASHBACK FRIDAY - SUSTAINABLE PARK

The playground is an exciting environmentally focused parkland at Stockland's Highlands Community at Craigieburn.

The nature based adventure playground is built with recycled materials and includes a range of play equipment such as "The Nest" a massive eco-hut, the entrance to the tower is via a spiral staircase with cladding made from sticks collected within Highlands, the internal walls include lots of information panels about flora and fauna for families to really appreciate the beauty of the area.

So much consideration has been given to this park, with the unique picnic areas which have been built from trees cleared from around the area, for new housing and have been re-used to provide seats and nesting boxes for local animals. 🌳🌻

FLASHBACK FRIDAY - SAFARI PARK

Inspired by the nearby Werribee Open Range Zoo, designed by @peetcommunities in partnership with @urbanedge_landscape is one of the state of the art Safari Parks of its kind in Melbourne’s West.

There is so much to like about this park, kids will love playing hide and seek amongst the giant animal sculptures and parents will love the covered picnic areas. The playground has a fun safari themed colour scheme and safari animals.

Kids can swing off a large basket swing held by a giraffe or sit on top of a rhino or climb through a hippo. You can play in the wooden house structure with climbing and sliding sections, it will certainly capture any child’s wild safari imagination. 🌳🦏🦒

Everyone loves AFL footy and one of the most exciting days of the league is Grand Final Day.

In the spirit of it all we challenged our employees to send us a pic in their favourite footy team colours, we knew there would be a huge interest as we have some very serious Melbourne and Western Bulldogs supporters.

We had so many fun entries, it was a very difficult decision.😁
Without further ado our winner is David Gardiner and his beautiful kids.

Williamstown Cricket Ground Oval also known as Downer Oval is a football and cricket stadium located in Williamstown, Victoria perched on the cliffs edge at Williamstown.
Williamstown Cricket Ground Oval redevelopment commenced construction in mid-2020 and completed construction of the oval and re-opened to the community late April 2021.

Hobson Bay Council awarded the contract to Pitchcraft Pty Ltd, with Council's $2 million investment set to help deliver a ground surface that will meet the high standards of the VFL/VFLW as well as the needs of community users. ULS Group was awarded the tender to reconstruct the irrigation works of the grounds.🌳🏏🏉

The redevelopment featured:
- Reconstruction of the central turf cricket wicket
- The redevelopment featured:ation system including upgraded water supply
- Installation of two new above ground water tanks and small pump
- Laying of a new grassed surface
- Installation of a new oval boundary fence
