Supported by Melton Council and the Victoria Govt 'Growing suburbs' budget, the rejuvenation of Hannah Watts Park for residents and visitors alike has been completely embraced. Melton Council worked closely with Rotary International, via the Overseas Recycled Playground Program, to donate most of the old play equipment to some parks and schools of underprivileged communities in Sri Lanka.

Designed by Urban Initiatives, bordered by Toolern Creek & High Street, the park features a major open grassed space; toilets; 3 separated (but joined) sheltered tables/benches/bbq areas; a flying fox; mini-trampolines; swing set and tall slide tower. There is a smaller slide for toddlers and ducks quacking in the nearby pond.
